to introduce It’s A Pet’s World, the alternate pet care
service established to recognize the special needs and interests
of your pet(s).
Our Mission Statement is simple:
“Our passion in life is to ensure that each and every pet
receives unconditional love, respect and kindness. “
Who am I?
I have been an animal owner and lover since
childhood and I am an animal advocate by nature.
My passion in life is to ensure that each
and every pet receives unconditional love, respect and kindness.
It’s A Pet’s World was created with this in mind. As the
former Manager of the Pet-Sitting Department of The Housesitters
Canada, I was instrumental in the department’s ongoing development,
and often found myself personally taking on many pet-sitting
assignments.

It wasn’t until my departure that I realized
the impact I had had on the lives of the pets and their
owners whom I serviced in the past. Once the word was out
that I had left the company, I began to receive calls requesting
that I continue looking after their pets. Many of them felt
that “they did not feel comfortable leaving their pets with
anyone else. I loved and cared for these pets as if they
were my own…. and I was humbled to realize that the pet
owners recognized my love and dedication to the well being
of their pet(s).
The following is a letter from a current client,
which clearly testifies my passion, love and respect for
these wonderful little creatures.
“Hi, I am a mother of 2 beautiful dogs.
One is a 13-year-old German Sheppard and the other is 5-year-old
Border Collie cross.
I am moving out of town soon and I have had to travel a
lot in the past few months. If I had not

found Tina I do not know how I would have managed. Tina
not only knows how to treat my elderly lady but also knows
that the young one needs to have some play time.
My babies are just that to me, and I would not trust
their care to just anyone. My older dog is usually upset
when I leave, and does not eat well. Tina has actually gotten
on the floor and hand fed her so that she would get some
food in. Tina loves these creatures as much as I do and
she has only known them a short time. I could not ask for
anyone better in looking after them and I would highly recommend
